Hunan TV's Popular Show Loses 400,000 Followers After Renaming, Still Applies for Trademark '快本'

Earlier today, the official Weibo account of '快乐大本营' was renamed to '湖南卫视综艺' (Hunan TV Variety), resulting in the loss of nearly 400,000 followers. Netizens commented that it's quite normal as the audience's affection lies with '快乐大本营' rather than other shows produced by Hunan TV.

However, it's worth noting that in April this year, Hunan Broadcasting and Television Station was still in the process of applying for the trademark registration of '快乐大本营' under the category of military fireworks. As of July 27, both trademarks have entered the initial review stage.

Previously, Hunan Broadcasting and Television Station has successfully registered dozens of trademarks for '快乐大本营.' The earliest application dates back to 1998, categorized under education and entertainment. Apart from Hunan Broadcasting and Television Station, '快乐大本营' trademarks were also applied for by multiple companies and individuals; however, most of them were invalidated.
