Amazon will create a "Spider-Man Shadow" series that won't star Peter Parker

According to Variety, Amazon is about to create a series of "Spider-Man Shadow".
The untitled series will follow an older superhero in New York City in the 1930s, and a person with knowledge of the project said the show will be in a separate universe and not feature Peter Parker.
"Spider-Man Shadow" is even more brutal than Peter Parker's Spider-Man, fighting crime in the New York underground during the Great Depression.
The show is the latest attempt by Sony to broaden its Spider-Man franchise, something they've been doing with the Spider-Verse movies and the Venom franchise.
