DC's superhero film 'Blue Beetle' has released new stills.

In Michael Rosenbaum's podcast, James Gunn, the co-CEO of DC Films, stated, 'The first DCU character is undoubtedly Blue Beetle, and the first DCU movie will be 'Superman: Legacy'.'
This marks the first live-action adaptation of Blue Beetle, with 22-year-old Latinx actor Xolo Maridueña portraying the third-generation Blue Beetle, Jamie Reyes. The director previously mentioned, 'We want to make him grounded as much as possible. He has to become a hero for his family and community first. We don't want him to have to save the Earth right from the start.'
The movie is scheduled to premiere in North Americaon August 18th.
