No More Batman: Clooney Confirms Cameo in "The Flash" is One-Time

This summer, George Clooney shocked the DC universe by reprising Bruce Wayne in "The Flash" after 25 years, confirming it's a one-time cameo.
When asked by The Hollywood Reporter if this cameo signals more Batman appearances, Clooney chuckled, "Oh, no. For some reason, not many people are asking me to play Batman again, I don't know why."
According to THR, Warner Bros. and "The Flash" production team kept Clooney's role under wraps for nearly six months. Clooney, after viewing an almost finished movie clip, expressed his satisfaction and agreed to the brief return. Affleck had previously tweeted that Clooney is "definitely not" the new Batman in the DCU.
Clooney originally portrayed Bruce Wayne/Batman in "Batman & Robin," a 1997 film considered one of the worst superhero movies ever. The actor has publicly criticized the movie multiple times, stating, "It's a bad script. I'm telling you, I did a terrible job."
