Guardian Hollywood reports that the movie 'GT Racing: Crazy Speed' adapted from a racing-themed game will be released in mainland China on September 1.
The film was previously scheduled for August 11 and was to be simultaneously released in North America. However, due to actor strikes, the North American release was changed to a limited screening on August 11 and a large-scale public release on August 25. Now, the mainland China release date has also been adjusted.
The movie is based on 'a crazy true story' and is directed by Neil Bloomcamp, the director of 'District 9.' It stars Orlando Bloom, David Harbour, Archie Madki, and Jeman Hansu. The film narrates the journey of player Jean Maddenburle, who emerged as a professional racer on real racetracks thanks to his racing simulation gaming skills.
