According to Sina Movies, the movie 'The Investiture of the Gods: Part One' unveiled a teaser trailer titled 'Chaos in the Human World,' providing the first look at Naran as Daji. She also posted her makeup photo on Weibo, displaying a glamorous appearance.
Directed by Wusang, the film stars Fei Xiang, Li Xuejian, Huang Bo, Yu Shi, Chen Muchi, Naran, Cisha, Wu Yafan, Xia Yu, Yuan Quan, Wang Luoyong, Hou Wenyuan, Huang Xiyang, Li Yunrui, Yang Lei, and Chen Kun. It is set to be released nationwide on July 20th.
The story revolves around King Yinshou (played by Fei Xiang) colluding with the fox demon Daji (portrayed by Naran), leading to tyranny and provoking divine punishment. Jiang Ziya (played by Huang Bo), an immortal from Kunlun, brings the 'Investiture of the Gods' and descends the mountain to find the ruler of the world to save the people. Ji Fa (portrayed by Yu Shi), the son of the Marquis of Xibo, gradually discovers Yinshou's true nature and rebels against the Chou dynasty. Various forces are in motion, and the signs of a changing situation are beginning to emerge.
