DC James Gunn: Black version of "Superman" still has a chance to become a reality

DC Studios CEO James Gunn said in an interview that although the new film "Superman: Legacy" has been officially announced, it does not mean that the planned "Superman" movie starring black people has been cancelled.
"The two are completely unrelated. It's an exciting movie, and while I haven't read the script, it could be done if the project takes shape and is satisfying and the time is right. It would be something like A multiverse story like Joker."
It is understood that the film is co-produced by JJ Abrams and Ta-Nehisi Coates, and the protagonist is black, but unlike Michael B. Jordan's 2019 promotion of the black superman story, it is still in the planning stage.
