Renowned Hong Kong Veteran Actor Zhang Yingcai Passes Away

Zhang Yingcai was born in Hong Kong in 1934 and entered the film industry at the age of 16. He gained popularity for his handsome appearance and became a prominent actor for Shaw Brothers, alongside popular stars such as Patrick Tse, Wu Fung, and Law Kei.
During his career spanning over 50 years, Zhang Yingcai appeared in nearly a hundred films, including notable works like 'The Factory Boy,' 'Queen of the Market,' and 'Diary of a Master.' In 1970, he shifted to TVB and continued his acting career in television dramas. He also worked as a voice actor and was recognized as one of the top dubbing artists of the 1970s. He lent his voice to the character 【Tong Hu, the Cantonese Saint Fighter】.
He portrayed Ma Yu, the leader of the Quanzhen Seven in the TV series 'The Legend of the Condor Heroes,' played the role of the White Dragon in the 1996 version of 'Journey to the West,' and portrayed Huang Mei, the Master of Yellow Eyebrows, in 'Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils.' He officially announced his retirement after completing the TVB dramas 'Joy to the World' and 'Good Bye, Sir' in 2006.。
