Since his first appearance on the Taiwanese stage in 1981, Shinji Tanimura has maintained a close connection with Taiwan. In 2010, during the Shanghai World Expo, he served as the Japanese ambassador for promotional activities and performed his signature piece "Stars" at the opening ceremony, leaving a profound impact on the live audience and viewers worldwide.
