According to the latest reports, the next installment of the "Fast & Furious" film series will mark Vin Diesel's final appearance in the franchise. The star, who has long served as a producer, has been leading the "Fast & Furious" series since 2009. On the other hand, leaks suggest that the ultimate conclusion of "Fast & Furious" might introduce a new antagonist instead of bringing back Dante Reyes, portrayed by Jason Momoa.
Meanwhile, in June of last year, Universal Pictures announced a new film in the "Fast & Furious" universe. Dwayne Johnson takes the lead role in this project, written by Chris Morgan, the former lead writer of the main series. It's worth noting that this film is not "Fast & Furious 11" or "Fast & Furious 12" but a spin-off. Reports indicate that Diesel will not make an appearance in this movie, but other "Fast & Furious" cast members might join Johnson's team.
