Fei Xiang Responds to Mixed Chinese-American Identity with Pride in His Chinese Heritage

July 30th, according to Sina Entertainment, the first roadshow of the movie "封神" took place in Chengdu, and Fei Xiang responded to questions about his American citizenship.
He said that although his father is American, his mother is Chinese, and he is proud to have Chinese blood running in his veins. When some fans asked for a photo with him, Fei Xiang said, "I won't have time later, if you want a photo, come up on stage now!"
Fei Xiang is a Chinese pop singer and actor, born in 1960. He is of mixed Chinese-American heritage, with his mother hailing from Harbin, Heilongjiang. In 1981, he entered the entertainment industry by appearing in the TV drama "Eleven Women's Performance." He gained fame in 1987 by singing the songs "Hometown Cloud" and "A Fire in Winter" at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala. In 1990, he went to the United States to develop his career on Broadway.
