Recently, industry insider John Campea spilled the beans on future casting for some new characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) on his podcast. According to him, actor Mads Mikkelsen is in talks to play the role of Doctor Doom and has had discussions with Marvel.
Users on the Reddit forum abroad discussed this revelation, with some questioning if he had previously played the antagonist Casillias in a Marvel film, casting doubt on the authenticity of the leak. However, others pointed out that Doctor Doom often wears a mask, making the return of the previous MCU actor less of an issue. Fans generally agree that Mads Mikkelsen's charisma and acting skills make him an excellent choice for the role of Doctor Doom.
It's worth noting that earlier reports from "Variety" indicated that Jonathan Majors, originally set to lead the MCU into the next phase as the Conqueror Kang, seems to be reconsidered due to domestic violence allegations. This has led Marvel to contemplate replacing the primary antagonist with Doctor Doom.
