Gary Oldman, known for his role as Sirius Black in the "Harry Potter" film series, expressed dissatisfaction with his performance in a recent podcast, deeming it "unremarkable."
Oldman stated, "I believe my work in it was quite average." He added, "Yes, that's truly how I feel. Perhaps if I had read the original work like Alan (portrayer of Professor Snape), if I had been ahead of the game, if I knew what would happen, honestly, I think I would have interpreted it differently."
Oldman is his own harshest critic. "Let me tell you how it is. Just like anything else, if I sat there watching my own performance and said, 'Wow, I'm fantastic,' that would be a very sad day because you'd want to do the next thing better."
In 2004's "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," Oldman first portrayed Sirius Black. In the subsequent two films, he reprised the role of Sirius Black, concluding in 2007's "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." (Source: Deadline)
