The live-action adaptation of "How to Train Your Dragon" will feature Gerard Butler reprising his role as Stoick the Vast, the leader of the Viking tribe and father to Hiccup. Alongside Butler, the confirmed cast includes Mason Thames and Nicole Parker, playing Hiccup and Astrid, respectively. The live-action film, adapted from "How to Train Your Dragon," is set to release on June 13, 2025, with Dean DeBlois serving as the director, writer, and producer, who also directed and wrote the three films in the original animated trilogy.
