On the first day of Studio Ghibli's new year and the 83rd birthday of animation master Hayao Miyazaki, Alibaba Pictures President Li Jie conveyed the best wishes and expectations of Chinese fans, paving the way for the introduction of Miyazaki's new work "The Heron and the Youth" (original title: "What Kind of Life Do You Want to Live?") in the mainland. At the scene, both sides exchanged gifts, expressing hopes for the new year.
At the meeting, Studio Ghibli representative, director, and producer Toshio Suzuki and Alibaba Pictures President Li Jie reached an agreement on the cooperation plan for Miyazaki's new work "The Heron and the Youth." Meanwhile, Alibaba Pictures, Studio Ghibli, and Creatio Corporation also reached an agreement on the immersive exhibition strategy for Miyazaki's animated works, providing audiences with a richer audio-visual experience.
