According to Sina Entertainment, Aaron Kwok recently joined the Shell Jecai Lynk & Co. team as an invited driver, participating in the "Macau Touring Car Cup—CTCC China Automobile Circuit Professional League" race. Driving car #88-03 TCR, he faced an accident in the 5th lap at the exit of Lisboa Bend, losing control and colliding with the #27 car driven by Hong Kong racer Chan Chun Leung. Both were forced to retire.
Reportedly, on the 18th, Aaron Kwok smoothly advanced to the 17th place in the first round of the race. On the 19th, during the Macau Touring Car Cup, an accident occurred in the 5th lap at the exit of Lisboa Bend. The car lost control, resulting in a spin, and collided with the #27 car of Hong Kong racer and Norris Racing driver Chan Chun Leung. As a result, both retired, and Aaron Kwok was penalized 30 seconds, ultimately ranking 24th.
Aaron Kwok's manager Xiao Mei responded to the media on the 19th, stating that although there was a slight contact at the rear of the car, Aaron Kwok himself was unharmed. He thanked everyone for their concern, emphasizing the inevitability of collisions on the race track and highlighting the sportsmanship of the competition. Aaron Kwok expressed his happiness in participating in the event, gaining valuable practical experience and not feeling disappointed.
