Borderlands: Savage Duos - Officially Confirmed for Release!

The game-adapted film "Borderlands" announces its official release date, scheduled to hit North American theaters on August 9th next year. According to previous reports, the movie had wrapped up its production in 2021, but additional filming was conducted later due to some personnel changes, making the production process less smooth.

Directed by Eli Roth, produced by Lionsgate, and with involvement from game company Gearbox Software, the film aims to create that wild, entertaining, and creative game world.

Kate Blanchett plays "Lilith," the legendary thief with magical skills. Kevin Hart portrays Roland, a highly skilled ex-military turned mercenary. Jamie Lee Curtis plays Dr. Patricia Tannis, a scientist and archaeologist who may hold clues to the treasure's location and has a complex past with Lilith. Jack Black provides the enthusiastic voice of the robot Claptrap, while Ariana Greenblatt plays a 13-year-old explosive expert named Tiny Tina, seeking revenge against the man who sold her parents to the evil Hyperion corporation. Florian Munteanu plays Krieg, Tina's protector, and Haley Bennett portrays a new character with crucial ties to Lilith's past.

Edgar Ramirez plays the antagonist Atlas, a business magnate and weapons manufacturer who is the most powerful person in this universe. Olivier Richters plays Krom, the leader of the chaotic bandit gang ruling Pandora, and Janina Gavankar takes on the role of a new character, Commander Knox.
