"The Hunger Games" Prequel Movie New Trailer Brutal Survival Escape Game Restart

The prequel movie "The Hunger Games: The Song of the Songbird and the Snake" released a trailer for the "Hunger Games" series, and the brutal survival escape game is reopened. The film will be released in North America on November 17.

In the prequel, "The Hunger Games" series director Francis Lawrence returns to direct, with Rachel Ziegler as Lucy, Tom Bryce as a young Snow, and Viola Davis as the Tenth Hunger Dr. Volumnia Gaul, the game's lead game producer. The screenplay was written by Michael Leslie ("Macbeth," "Assassin's Creed," "The Drummer") and co-created by Michael Arndt ("Inside Out," "Toy Story 3," "Little Miss Sunshine").

According to reports, the story of this film is adapted from the new book of the same name by the original author of the series, Susan Collins. It is set before Coriolanus Snow became the tyrant president of the Patriarchy. With his family down and down, he sees an opportunity to change his destiny: he's chosen to be a mentor in the tenth Hunger Games.

Snow is assigned to mentor Lucy Gray Baird, a girl from the impoverished 12th district, who gets everyone's attention by singing defiantly at a harvest ceremony. Snow thinks they can turn the tide to his advantage, and the two combine their instinctive showmanship and newfound political skills in a race against time in a game of survival that will ultimately reveal who is the songbird and the snake.
