2023-10-18
On the 17th, during a press conference in Hong Kong, Andy Lau responded for the first time to his recent fall during a concert in Malaysia, which was caused by an inner ear imbalance. He admitted that he still felt dizzy after returning home and acknowledged the psychological impact of the incident. Lau explained that inner ear imbalances had been a long-standing issue since his youth, occurring annually but less frequently as he grew older. The Malaysia concert took place on the evening of August 13th, and on the 12th, he experienced dizziness due to an inner ear imbalance, leading to a delayed start. Nevertheless, he insisted on performing, stating, "I thought deeply about whether I should go on stage, but when I saw the audience had already taken their seats and were waiting, I couldn't bear to send them away."
