Joel Actor and Director Talk 'The Last of Us' Ending: Dark but Destined

Recently, actor Pedro Pascal, who played Joel in "The Last of Us", expressed his views on the finale of the first season, and director Craig Mazin also expressed his views.

Pascal says Joel chose Ellie over saving humanity because he couldn't afford to lose Ellie after losing his daughter Sarah.

Director Craig Mazin also talked about this controversial ending. He said that for Joel, it was an easy decision to save Ellie instead of saving all mankind.
