According to data from the Enterprise Check App, on August 16th, the People's Court Gazette published a statement from individual named Duan to JJ Lin. Duan admitted that in August 2021, without verification, they had posted an untrue article involving JJ Lin. The content of the post was maliciously fabricated, defamatory, and spread false negative rumors. Duan deeply apologized for this and pledged not to engage in any actions that would infringe upon Mr. JJ Lin's reputation in the future.
