"Crimson River" Korean Release Set for October 11th, Korean Trailer and Poster Revealed

The film "Crimson River," directed by Zhang Yimou and starring Shen Teng and Jackson Yee, is scheduled for release in South Korea on October 11th. The Korean version of the trailer and poster have also been unveiled. With a cumulative box office of 4.544 billion yuan in mainland China, this movie promises an intense and bloody storyline.
Set during the Southern Song Dynasty, the passing of the loyal figure, Yue Peng, leaves countless loyal officials and citizens mourning. Four years later, the treacherous chancellor, Qin Hui (played by Lei Jiayin), leads an army for negotiations with the Jin Dynasty. However, on the eve of the negotiations, the Jin envoy is mysteriously murdered in Qin Hui's residence. With the situation becoming increasingly urgent, Sun Jun (played by Jackson Yee), the deputy commander of the royal guards, learns of a clue held by the seemingly inept soldier, Zhang Da (played by Shen Teng). They are brought before Qin Hui, who orders them to find the real culprit within an hour, or face execution. As time races on, the investigation ensnares the courtesan Yao Qin (played by Wang Jiayi), the night watchman Ding Sanwang (played by Pan Binlong), and the stableman Liu Xi (played by Yu Ailei). Furthermore, the Prime Minister's Chief Steward, He Li (played by Zhang Yi), and Deputy Chief Steward Wu Yichun (played by Yue Yunpeng) become entangled in the intricate and bloody affair.
