Martin Scorsese recently shared insights into the online world of an 80-year-old in an interview with the Associated Press: "I don't use a computer; I've tried a few times, but I simply can't concentrate. After all, I have movies, books, and people. It's only this year that I started checking my emails. Email, it's quite startling, with 'CC (carbon copy)' and a thousand names. Who are all these people?"
The report also noted that he was saying these words with a smile, clearly aware of the image he was portraying as a traditionalist. After a while, he added, "Voice messages can be quite interesting at times."
Despite his reservations about new technology, Scorsese is not averse to it. In his film "The Irishman," he used CG effects to make Robert De Niro look younger, demonstrating the immense potential of new technology. Furthermore, he occasionally makes cameo appearances in short videos with his daughter, Francesca Scorsese.
