Marvel's New Series "Miracle Man" Resumes Filming, One of the Oldest Avengers

Marvel's latest creation, "Miracle Man," seems to be back on track. Last Saturday, photos of the series' set surfaced online, showcasing the portrayal of the Avenger "Miracle Man" by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, as seen in promotional materials at the movie premiere.

According to THR, Marvel is set to deliver a new installment of "Miracle Man." Miracle Man is one of the oldest characters in Marvel comics, debuting in 1964 as an antagonist but transforming into a hero in the late 1970s, gaining fame in the '80s.

Miracle Man, whose real name is Simon Williams, is a founding member of the West Coast Avengers based in Los Angeles. Known for his iconic attire of turtleneck sweater, red jacket, and sunglasses, he became a celebrity due to his daily work as an actor and stunt performer.

Miracle Man has a close relationship with Wanda and Vision. In the comics, ion energy and brainwaves link Miracle Man and Vision, creating a brotherly bond. After Vision's dismantling, Miracle Man develops special feelings for Wanda.

Ion energy grants Miracle Man superhuman strength, speed, endurance, agility, vision, and hearing. He can fly, become immortal, and possesses skills such as manipulating electromagnetics, changing self-size, and teleportation. (Source: comicbook)
