Morgan Freeman: Calling "African American" is an insult!

Recently, 85-year-old well-known Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman said in an interview that being called African-American is an insult.
Speaking to The Times about Black History Month, which takes place every February, Freeman said it was an "insult" for the celebration to refer to "African-Americans." "There are two things I can say publicly that I don't like: Black History Month is an insult." He went on to add: "'African American' is also an insult."
Freeman continued: "Black people have always been called differently. I don't know how these words became popular, but everyone uses 'African American.' What the hell does it mean? Most people in this part of the world Most blacks are mixed. You say Africa as if it is one country, but it is one continent, just like Europe."
