Naughty Dog's Neil Joins Writers' Strike, 'The Last of Us' Season 2 Casting on Hold

According to Variety, the second season of the live-action "The Last of Us" series has been affected by a writers' strike.
Casting for the show's second season was well under way until it was put on hold earlier this week, according to a person with knowledge of the production.
The show's co-creator and programming executive Craig Mazin has been spotted standing at the cordon with his fellow Writers Guild of America (WGA) members in recent days. According to the WGA Strike Guidelines, he is currently not doing any writing or producing work (including casting) for the second season. Likewise, Neil Druckmann, who co-created the series and serves as the game's writer and creative director, is currently not involved in any form of production on the second season.
