It has been four years since the conclusion of the 'Game of Thrones' series, while George R.R. Martin's original work, 'A Song of Ice and Fire,' has only reached its fifth volume. The sixth volume, 'A Dance with Dragons,' is still in progress.
It's been 12 years since the release of the fifth volume, and readers' anticipation for the sixth volume, 'A Dance with Dragons,' has been long-standing. Now, there's finally some new information.
Recently, George R.R. Martin revealed that he is diligently working on 'A Dance with Dragons' almost every day and making steady progress.
"It's not as fast as I want, and certainly not as fast as you want...but there's progress."
According to previously disclosed information, 'A Dance with Dragons' will be the longest volume in the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series. Additionally, there's a nearly six-year gap between the publication dates of the original fourth volume, 'A Feast for Crows,' and the fifth volume, 'A Dance with Dragons.'
