"Schindler's List" Composer Williams Has No Plans to Retire, Now 91 Years Old

Hollywood film composer John Williams is undeniably one of the most prolific in the industry, boasting 52 Oscar nominations and five wins for masterpieces like "Fiddler on the Roof," "Jaws," "Star Wars," "E.T.," and "Schindler's List." He's also behind iconic scores for "Superman," "Indiana Jones," "Jurassic Park," and more. In 2023, Williams returned for the "Indiana Jones" series, scoring "Indiana Jones: Compass of Fate," hinting it could be his final film. However, earlier this year, the 91-year-old musician expressed plans to "persevere for a while longer." In a recent interview, he confirmed his willingness to compose again if the right project comes along. "If there's a film I'm very interested in, and my schedule allows, I won't rule out any possibilities. Anything is possible. Everything is in front of us. Only our limitations hinder us. Or, to put it simply: I like to keep an open mind."
