Sansa Files Sudden Divorce, Sues Joe Jonas for Custody of Two Daughters

On September 21st, there's breaking news in the divorce case involving Sophie Turner, known for her role as Sansa in "Game of Thrones," and Joe Jonas. Early Thursday, Sophie Turner filed a lawsuit in a Manhattan court in New York, demanding that Joe Jonas "immediately return the children mistakenly taken away or wrongfully detained," and send their two daughters back to the United Kingdom.

In the lawsuit, Sophie Turner claimed that their marriage "suddenly" fell apart after a heated argument on August 15, 2023. Subsequently, Joe Jonas filed for divorce on September 1st, and Sophie Turner learned about the "unexpected" divorce through the media four days later.

In the documents, Sophie Turner reiterated their plan to move the children to the United Kingdom. However, she now accuses Joe Jonas of withholding the children's passports, refusing to return them to their mother, and declining to send the children back to the United Kingdom to live with their mother.

In response, a spokesperson for Joe Jonas denied Sophie Turner's claim of learning about the divorce through the media, stating, "After multiple discussions with Sophie, Joe Jonas filed for divorce in Florida because it is the appropriate jurisdiction for this case."
