According to nintendoeverything, Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida recently went to see "Super Mario Bros. The Movie."
Kenichiro Yoshida said that Mario is a beautiful and wonderful IP, and he played Mario eagerly 30 years ago.
"A cute IP can survive for 30, 50 or even 100 years. We hope to invest in this and achieve sustainable growth."
