Expanding Beyond the Movie: 'Ghost of Tsushima' May Expand to TV Series
2023-06-19
According to IGN, Chad Stahelski, the director of the 'Ghost of Tsushima' movie, has revealed that the team is exploring ways to expand the franchise into sequels and TV series.
In an interview, Stahelski discussed the challenge of condensing a lengthy game story into a film and hinted at Sony's consideration for more than just a single movie on the big screen.
"Just, how do I take all that information and make one movie and be able to do other movies or TV shows?" Stahelski questioned.
"We know we have good materials. But how do we make it feel on any platform, you know, how do we make it a great two-hour or two-and-a-half-hour movie?"
"How do we satisfy that, and then expand on that? That's the real challenge."
