"Fast and Furious 10" IGN 5 points: The process to the end is quite bumpy
2023-05-18
IGN released the media evaluation of "Fast and Furious 10", giving it 5 points.
Brief comment:
As a prelude to a disappointing series finale, the only real credit to Fast & Furious 10 is the insane performance of villain Jason Momoa.
Score: points mediocre
Overall:
"Fast and Furious 10" is the starting point of the series finale, but the journey to the end of this "starting point" is quite bumpy.
Jason Momoa's performance as Dante Reyes deserves immediate inclusion on the list of series villains, but it doesn't sit well with the rest of the movie. There wasn't enough barbecue on the dinner table to feed a growing family, and director Louis Leterrier couldn't do everything a modern Fast and Furious movie demands. There's still time for the Fast and the Furious series to cross the finish line first, but this so-called "Part One" will be a nail in the coffin for the final lap.
