Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has recently surpassed $800 million at the global box office, reaching $805 million. It earned an additional $7 million in North America over the past weekend, accumulating a total of $335 million. Outside of North America, it collected $6.7 million, bringing its international total to $470 million.
The film picks up where the previous installment left off, with the Guardians of the Galaxy settling into life on Knowhere. However, their peaceful existence is soon disrupted by the turbulent past of Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper).
Star-Lord, Peter Quill (played by Chris Pratt), still mourns the loss of Gamora (played by Zoe Saldana), but he must rally his team to embark on a dangerous mission to rescue Rocket Raccoon. If they fail, the renowned Guardians of the Galaxy could face their demise.
