'The Flash' has so far grossed $106 million at the North American box office, trailing behind 'Green Lantern' by approximately $10 million, with a significant reduction in screen counts. While not as disastrous as 'Shazam: Fury of the Gods', it falls far below the $168 million mark set by 'Black Adam', which itself is considered a terrible movie.
Although 'Blue Beetle' and 'Aquaman 2' are still awaiting release this year, it is unlikely that these two films will ignite DC's box office performance.
Now, everyone is wondering if James Gunn's 'Superman: Legacy' can give the new DCU a good start.
