Director Aims to Collaborate Again with Margot Robbie, Portraying Harley Quinn or a New Character

James Gunn, Co-CEO of DC Studios, expresses the desire to work again with Margot Robbie, hoping she will reprise her iconic role as Harley Quinn or take on a completely new character.
Recently, when asked about Lady Gaga portraying Harley Quinn in "Joker 2," Margot Robbie expressed her interest in passing on the role to another actress. A few days later, Gunn mentioned on Threads that he is "eager to collaborate with her again."
For the upcoming films in the new DC Universe series, James Gunn hasn't considered anyone else to play Harley Quinn, as he successfully brought back Margot Robbie in the 2021 reboot of "The Suicide Squad."
Gunn stated, "It's been a while since I discussed Harley with Margot. But I really hope to work with her again, either portraying Harley or trying out a different character. Currently, there are no plans for anyone else to play Harley, except in Todd's films or animations."
