Recently, during the nationwide tour stop in Harbin, director Urshan shed light on the upcoming storyline of "Gods Reborn" sequel. The much-loved character Boyi Kao is set to make a reappearance in the new narrative, surfacing within Ji Fa's dreams.
In the first installment's plot, Zhou Wenwang gets imprisoned by Shang Zhouwang. Boyi Kao ventures into the Shang Dynasty as a hostage exchange, only to meet a cruel fate at the hands of Zhouwang, whose insidious actions involve turning him into a meat pie consumed by Wenwang.
During the live event of the tour, actor Yang Ke expressed his gratitude for the audience's affection towards the role of Boyi Kao.
Previously, the director hinted at the sequel, promising intensified battle scenes, fantastical creatures, and more gripping dramatic sequences. These fresh elements are sure to provide an entirely new audiovisual experience for the viewers.
