Sequel to 'Armor Heroes' in Production! Original Cast Returns

Recently, Yang Ya, the actress who played Mei Zhen in the first installment of 'Armor Heroes,' revealed that the sequel is currently in pre-production. As it will be a short series, the story will not be overly long but will aim to incorporate some small plotlines while staying true to the character development from the previous work.

Furthermore, the director of this short series is Yang Ya, a graduate of the Shanghai Theatre Academy. She has previously been involved in screenplay writing for movies and web dramas and has directed several short films.

Regarding the latest progress of the series, Yang Ya mentioned that the issue of selecting the armor suit has not been resolved. It is not a matter of lacking options for the suit, but rather, after the professional team joined the production, they found it challenging to achieve the level of tokusatsu drama. Currently, they have decided not to return in the form of tokusatsu, which involves complex issues related to the selection of combat-ready soft suits and visually appealing hard suits. Nevertheless, they still plan to proceed with the filming. Fans are urging the official team of 'Armor Heroes' to provide assistance and solve the problem.
