"One Piece Live-Action" Season 2 Script Confirmed - Coming Within 1.5 Years!
2023-09-08
Recently, the team at Tomorrow Studios, responsible for the production of "One Piece Live-Action," revealed in an interview with "Variety" magazine that, as long as the Hollywood strike settles down, they are confident in completing the production of Season 2 within 12 to 18 months.
"We have the script ready," said Marty Adelstein, the CEO of the studio. "Between one year and 18 months, we can have everything set for the release."
After the success of the first season, which quickly rose to the top of English-language series viewership on Netflix, "One Piece Live-Action" became one of the few anime adaptations in live-action format with a solid reputation. The goal for Season 2 is to expand its audience beyond the existing fanbase, and with the achievements of the first season (reaching 18.5 million views), this goal seems well within reach.
