One of the major criticisms from the audience is the film's visual effects, particularly the CGI characters. However, the official sources have revealed that these characters are actually portrayed by real actors.
For example, the post-credits scene featuring Nicolas Cage as Superman, the director revealed in an interview that Cage was physically present on set and personally filmed his scenes.
'We had discussions with Nicolas, and we decided to shoot him in the Superman costume,' he revealed. 'So, we collaborated with the costume designer who worked on 'Superman Lives' (which was ultimately canceled) to create this suit. The movie 'Superman Lives' would have been fantastic, but no one would see it because it never got made.' However, we did get to see the final result, and it looks nothing like CGI.
