Alita: Battle Angel to Have Sequels: Possibly Multiple!

Director James Cameron recently revealed that sequels to 'Alita: Battle Angel' are in development and there might be multiple installments.
In a new interview with Forbes, when asked why he sold his farmhouse in California (as Cameron and his wife Suzy primarily live in New Zealand), he said, 'Avatar was made in Wellington and Los Angeles, and the new 'Alita' films (plural) I will be making in Austin, so it doesn't make sense for us.' It seems that there will be a crossover between 'Avatar' and 'Alita: Battle Angel'.
The first film in the series was released in 2019 and currently holds a rating of 7.5 on Douban.
