According to reports, both China and Thailand will initiate permanent visa exemption for each other's citizens starting from March this year. Currently, Thailand has unilaterally granted a 5-month visa-free period for Chinese citizens, starting from September 25, 2023, until February 29, 2024. The latest news suggests a seamless transition from unilateral visa exemption to mutual exemption.
