Naran Portrays Su Daji in 'The Investiture of the Gods': Enchanted by Yuan Quan's Eyes

After the release of the movie 'The Investiture of the Gods,' Naran's portrayal of the new Su Daji left a deep impression on the audience. In a recent interview, Naran shared her journey from auditions to entering the training camp, revealing that her acting teacher was an actual fox. She confessed to being a fan of Yuan Quan and practiced her lines by watching her performances privately. During a bath scene, she got enchanted by Yuan Quan's eyes and forgot what she had to do in that scene, completely unwilling to 'kill' her.

Being an actress was always Naran's dream, and she admitted to having the courage during auditions, but felt immense pressure after getting the role. While waiting for 'The Investiture of the Gods' to premiere, she worked on another project and enriched herself by learning acting, Chinese language, playing the Guqin, and fitness.

Director Wu Ershan gave her a special assignment to 'observe foxes.' 'Foxes move their noses first, not their eyes,' so she imitated these small movements, expressions, and the state of communication with others, recording videos to show the director.
