"John Wick" actor Lance died of a heart attack, his family questioned

According to Mtime.com, "John Wick" actor Lance Reddick died suddenly on March 17 at the age of 60. Earlier media reports were "sudden death due to natural causes...". According to a cause of death report obtained by TMZ, Lydick died of ischemic heart disease and atherosclerotic coronary artery disease.

Ischemic heart disease, commonly known as atherosclerosis. Atherosclerotic coronary artery disease is usually caused by a buildup of plaque in the arteries.

In response to the report, attorneys for Redick's family said the autopsy did not prove the cause of his death and that ischemic heart disease was inconsistent with Redick's habits and health.

Attorney James Hornstein called Lydick "the healthiest person I know." The actor works out daily at his home gym, doing lots of cardio and maintaining a strict diet, he said. Rydick would even demand that the cast provide "gym facilities" in the acting contract.

Reddick has starred in and dubbed many works, and is famous for "The Wire", as well as dramas such as "Edge of Crisis", "Lost", "Law and Order", "Prison Storm", "Godzilla vs. King Kong", "The Shocking Crisis", "The Uninvited Guest" "Quick Chase" series and other movies. He is currently promoting John Wick 4, in which he plays Charon, the hotel receptionist.
