'Harry Potter' star dies on Platform 9 and Three Quarters at 56
2023-03-21
According to the "Guardian" report on March 21, on the afternoon of March 16 local time, British actor Paul Grant, who starred in "Star Wars" and "Harry Potter", was found collapsed outside King's Cross Station in north London. He died later at the age of 56.
After Grant was rushed to the hospital for treatment, doctors have deemed him brain dead. He was officially declared dead at 3:49 a.m. local time on March 20. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
It is embarrassing that the place where Grant fell was King's Cross Station, which is the most classic scene of the movie "Harry Potter" "Nine and Three Quarters". In the film, the platform is located on the third pillar of platforms nine and ten at King's Cross Station in London, England, from where the Hogwarts Express departs each year.
Grant suffers from achondroplasia (commonly known as dwarfism) and is only 1.32 meters tall, but he has used his own characteristics to successively perform Eva members, R2D2 in "Star Wars Six Parts: Jedi Return", and " "Gringotts Goblin" from the Harry Potter series.
