A new Marvel report suggests that more MCU titles may be delayed.
As part of the investigation into executive Victoria Alonso's sudden departure from Marvel Studios, Variety spoke to insiders who expect tweaks to Marvel's release schedule.
While five Marvel titles are planned to land on Disney+ this year, only "three or four" can now be expected to arrive in 2023, with the rest likely to move to "2024 and beyond."
This dovetails with a move by Disney+ to give all upcoming Marvel titles to the streaming service the "coming soon" status. It is unclear which works will be delayed.
