Louis Koo Receives Top Honor at the 22nd New York Asian Film Festival

On July 19th, local time, Louis Koo proudly displayed his trophy to the reporters at Lincoln Center in New York. That night, he was honored with the prestigious 'Asia Star Extraordinary Achievement Award' at the New York Asian Film Festival, recognizing his remarkable contributions to the Asian film industry throughout the years.

During the event, Louis Koo also touched on the impact of artificial intelligence on the film industry, stating, 'AI can provide convenience and functionality, but it can never witness the boundless creativity and emotions of human beings. Only human emotions and creativity can truly express a movie and move the hearts of the audience.'

It was revealed that the organizing committee bestowed this award upon Louis Koo not only to acknowledge his significant contributions to the Asian film industry over the course of his career but also to commend his courage in accepting challenges during a pivotal moment of transformation in Hong Kong cinema.

His latest film, 'On the Way to the Hospital', starring Louis Koo, premiered at the film festival, and 'The White Storm 3', in which Louis Koo co-stars with Aaron Kwok and Sean Lau, was already released in North America on July 20th.
