Marvel Announces Dismissal of Conqueror Kang Actor! No Longer in "Avengers 5" and More

Marvel has announced the dismissal of actor Jonathan Meyers, who will exit "Avengers 5" and other upcoming Marvel films, no longer portraying the character Kang the Conqueror.
Meyers, convicted of misdemeanor reckless harassment and assault in the case of attacking his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, faces a possible one-year imprisonment with the final verdict scheduled for February 6 next year.
Kang, portrayed by Meyers, first appeared in Season One of "Loki" and later participated in "Ant-Man 3" and Season Two of "Loki." Kang, a key Marvel antagonist, originally planned to have his own standalone film, "Avengers 5: Kingdom of Kang," which has undergone changes such as director exits and scriptwriter replacements.
Now, Kang's fate remains uncertain—whether to recast the role or abandon it is yet to be determined. However, it seems to be the latter— "Avengers 5" no longer carries the original title "Kingdom of Kang" and has reverted to simply "Avengers 5."
