"Pokémon" First Spin-off Series Premieres Tonight: Pokémon Beauty Adventures

The original TV series with a "Pokémon" theme is set to air tonight at 0:30 on Tokyo TV, local time, with a runtime of one and a half hours. Starring the popular idol from Nogizaka, Nanae Nishino, the show tells the story of the Pokémon game.
Yuan Akagi (played by Nanae Nishino) has always dreamed of becoming a creator she admires since her student days. She relocated to Tokyo and joined a small advertising agency called ADventure to pursue her dream. However, Yuan found that reality in Tokyo wasn't as rosy as she'd imagined, living a challenging life each day. But one day, she unexpectedly received a report that could change the destiny of her company. At that moment, Yuan also received a package from her mother, containing a game she played as a child, "Pokémon: Red." After 20 years, Yuan's adventure with Pokémon begins.
The cast includes Nanae Nishino, Masaru Kasamatsu, Asaharu Hasegawa, Aya Hirano, Ryogo Sekoguchi, Toshitaka Watanabe, and Takamasa Tsukaji, along with Rio Uchida and Eriko Sato.
