Star Wars reveals plans for three future films, Rey returns

At the "Star Wars" 2023 celebration held in London yesterday, Lucasfilm announced a number of next-stage film plans on the spot.
First of all, Daisy Ridley confirmed her return to participate in a brand new "Star Wars" movie, continuing to play Rey who became a Jedi master and rebuilding the Jedi Order. Set 15 years after "Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker," the film is directed by Shame Obaid-Chinoy ("Wonder Girls").
The second project, directed by James Mangold ("Wolverine: Last Stand"), tells the story of exploring the origin of the first Jedi Knight, set 25,000 years ago in the currently known timeline.
The final project, directed by Dave Filoni, is about the war between the remnants of the Empire and the New Republic.
