In the official trailer for the live-action film 'Barbie,' the opening shot features Margot Robbie walking in high heels and then standing on tiptoes.
According to Time magazine, this scene required eight takes to achieve success. Robbie had to hold onto a horizontal bar to maintain her balance while on tiptoes. Furthermore, she insisted on shooting the scene herself, as she didn't like the appearance of other people's hands or feet in her shots.
She also revealed that she might have declined the movie if it hadn't included multiple diverse Barbie characters in the script. 'If Mattel (the screenwriter) hadn't made these changes to make Barbie more diverse, I might not have attempted this film,' Robbie stated. She believed that having only one version of Barbie would solidify a fixed ideal image for women.
